Working in food & drink marketing, you feel you could do something interesting with a brand of your own one day. We took over the Devonshire Tea brand from its original founders and re-launched a year later with a fresh identity and new direction for 2015.
An intensive year of learning the technicalities of becoming a tea merchant — developing and sourcing bespoke tea blends, working through many iterations of packaging design to create something beautiful, and building relationships with the best tea people in the industry to make a truly wonderful product.
The tea sector is bustling with the generic big-box brands in the mainstream, and with increasingly eccentric blends at the other end.
Instead, Devonshire Tea is a little upgrade for everyday occasions — our bespoke blends are interesting but straightforward, and beautifully packaged in a format that perfectly balances quality with accessibility.
We’re simply modern-day tea merchants in the West of England, sourcing the best tea available from the classic tea-growing regions in the Eastern world to create wonderful blends to brighten every day.
